Pawpaw Oat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Soft Chewy and Delicious cookies combine pawpaw with familiar ingredients for one delicious bite.

Ingredients
  

  • ½ cup pawpaw pulp
  • ½ cup brown sugar packed
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 5 tbsp butter softened
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1 egg room temperature
  • cup All Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Quick Oats
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 cup Semi sweet chocolate chips

Instructions
 

  • Cream together butter and sugars until light and fluffy
  • Add egg, vanilla, and pawpaw and beat until well combined
  • In separate bowl, combine flour, oats, baking soda, and salt and mix well
  • Fold dry ingredients into wet combining well but making sure not to over mix
  • Stir in chocolate chips
  • Using a tablespoon cookie scoop, drop the cookies by spoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet
  • Bake at 350 for 10 minutes until golden brown
  • Cool on wire rack and store in an airtight container
