Easy Kid Favorite Dinner Ideas
Chicken Tenders and Mac
There aren’t many kids I have met that do not enjoy chicken tenders and Mac. This is one of those go to dinners when the kids are in a picky kind of mood and I don’t want to spend a ton of time in the kitchen.
I lightly bread chicken tenderloins and fry them up to serve with a delicious honey mustard dipping sauce. It is always a hit with the kids.
Chicken, Rice, and Beans
This is another simple dinner that the kids love and it couldn’t be simpler to make. I grill up a few chicken breast and serve on top of a bed of fluffy white rice along side pinto beans. Add a little cheese and serve with tortilla chips
Pizza
This one is a no brainer when you are in a pinch to figure out dinner and the kids are hungry. Whether it is homemade or called in from your favorite pizza place, pizza night is always a hit.
We love to make a pizza bar and give each kid a little personal pizza crust to fill up with their favorite toppings. My boys tend to stay simple with just pepperoni and cheese while my daughter gets a bit more adventurous by adding in olives.
Spaghetti
Spaghetti night is almost as popular with my kids as pizza night. Personally I am not a fan of spaghetti (I know, I am weird), but my kids love it.
Every summer I make and freeze garden sauce for our spaghetti sauce that is chock full of veggies like carrots and squash. This is one of my favorite ways to get my kids to eat their veggies! Just hide them in the sauce!
Sandwich Night
This is another favorite of the kids. They love sandwich night. Bologna reigns supreme for the boys while sissy and I prefer sub sandwiches. The best thing is that we serve our favorite chips alongside and there is minimal clean up!
Definitely a weeknight meal to go to when time is tight.

Add a twist at the end of dinner with a grilled fruit kabob!
